Longwood Runs 31st At NCAA Southeast RegionalPublished by
CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Longwood University posted 875 points in men's cross country to finish 31st among 34 teams at the 2012 NCAA Southeast Regional Cross Country Championships on Friday at McAlpine Park in Charlotte, North Carolina. The University of Virginia won the team title with 64 points, while Soufiane Bouchikhi of Eastern Kentucky University was the individual race winner with his time of 29:32 over the 10K course. The Lancers were led by senior Sean Flynn|Goodview (Roanoke Catholic) with his new school-record time of 33:33 to place 155th among the field of 228 competitors.
