FARMVILLE, Va. Members of the Longwood University Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) completed a service project for Operation Christmas Child during the month of November. Operation Christmas Child reaches out to underprivileged children in more than 100 countries on six continents through gift-filled shoeboxes. The Lancers' representatives volunteered at a "packing party" at Farmville's Fuqua School before hosting their own in Longwood's Tabb Hall, totaling over 1,100 packed shoeboxes for children in need this holiday season.
